Haisini's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase mulberry for her tapa cloth making business and also for a new vehicle for delivery.

Haisini's story

Haisini is a 48 year old mother of five children. She is also a grand mother to one grandchild.

Haisini is a member of a group of women in their village, where they gathered once a week and make traditional tapa cloth. She also designs her tapas before selling them.

Haisini's business was affected by the 2018 tropical cyclone Gita. Her mulberry plantation was destroyed. Her husband re-planted her mulberry but it is not yet ready for use.

This loan she applies for is to purchase enough mulberry for her business and also for a deposit for a new vehicle to use by her family and also help with delivering her tapa cloth. Haisini normally sells her tapas at the local market but she also manages to export it overseas.
