Latileta's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase new buffet and serving equipment.

Latileta's story

Latileta has probably attracted most of her customers with just her welcoming and contagious smile. Her home-based business has been successful, as she operates it in a way that is similar to catering businesses instead of baking her products and selling them afterwards.

Latileta provides her services to mostly small-scale occasions such as prayer breakfasts among others. Her baked goodies include a variety of cakes, pies, and even simple foods such as pancakes.

She now hopes to expand her business by acquiring extra linens and banquet tables, either purchased or rented. Portable catering equipment, such as commercial hand sinks, would raise the standard of her business. Buffet serving materials, including serving trays, beverage dispensers, and chafing dishes would be an advantage as well.

Latileta is determined to continue making the same pastries, no matter how large her business becomes, because they include foods that are reminiscent of Fijian homes and are a favourite with Fijians of every race.

She hopes lenders will consider her originality and authenticity as a value worth investing in.
