Holare Medina Group's story

Mrs. DIENABOU is the president of the group "HOLARE MEDINA", which means "TRUST".

It is her on the picture. She is 51 years old, married and mother of 7 children aged between 5 and 17 years old, 4 of whom go to school. She has been in the breeding business for 10 years. Mrs. DIENABOU is uneducated. Her husband is a retailer.

This loan is intended for all the members of the group, who are 12 women, in order to develop their sheep breeding business. For her part of the loan, she intends to increase her livestock. She obtains her sheep from the surrounding villages and from the weekly markets in her city. She resells them after one year of fattening.

With the profit she earns, she manages to pay for her children's schooling and medical expenses. She dreams that her children will continue their studies in high schools to help her in the future.
The problem she faces is the lack of means to keep up with her livestock.
