Felicita Juana's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy plantains, peanuts, pork, etc.

Felicita Juana's story

Felicita Juana, 65, is a single mother of five children, all independent adults. She lives in her own house. They live in Portoviejo, a city that was affected by the 16 April 2016 earthquake and also by the Covid-19 pandemic. The city is rich in the production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruit for domestic consumption.

Felicita Juana works at home and making deliveries. She sells "bollos" (plantain dough with peanuts, made with fish or pork and wrapped in banana leaves for the best presentation).

The health crisis was very bad for her in the beginning because she wasn't able to make sales, but now she's reactivating little by little so she can continue earning her income.

This new loan is to buy plantains, peanuts, pork, etc.

Her dream is to be very healthy and to have a restaurant in her home.
