Diam-Diam Medine Elhadji Group's story

Madame Roubietou is the president of the group "Diam-Diam Medine El hadji" in the Peulh language and which means "peace". She's the one holding the sheep in the photo. She is 57 years old. She has been breeding sheep for 8 years. Married and mother of 3 children aged between 13 and 17 years old, Mme Roubietou is uneducated. Her husband is a farmer.
This loan is intended for all the members of the group, who number 12 women to develop their sheep and goat farming business. For her part, Madame Roubietou intends to buy more sheep than goats. She buys and resells her sheep in the weekly markets in her locality.
For her children, she dreams of them going to the biggest schools to help them in the future. It is with the profit she earns that she manages to help her husband with the costs of schooling, medical costs, etc. of her children.
Like most of the inhabitants of her area, Ms. Roubietou faces a problem of access to funding.
