Deggo Foundiougne Group's story

Mrs. Ndeye Dior is the president of "DEGGO FOUNDIOUGNE" in Wolof, which means "AGREEMENT". It is her in the picture in her store. She is very motivated about what she does. She is a 47 year old shopkeeper living in Senegal. She is married and mother of 4 children aged between 10 and 18 years old and they are all in school. Her husband is a driver.

Her group is made up of six women who all work in the small business sector. This loan is intended for the 6 of them. Mrs. Ndeye Dior has been in the children's clothing business for 11 years. She buys her supplies in Dakar or Kaolack and she resells them at the central market of her city. She borrows money from a microfinance institution to develop her business in order to increase her income.
The income she earns allows her to satisfy her personal needs and those of her children (schooling, food, health, etc.).

Her dream is to build her own house, open new stores and have a car to transport goods. She has chosen to be a merchant because it is her passion.
The only problem she encounters in her business is non-payment.
