Edy Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on fruits and vegetables, including avocados, prunes, bananas, cassava leaves, etc. to reinforce her initial capital.

Edy Group's story

Madam Judith is a client of Hekima and the Edy Group representative. She is 40 years old and married with eleven children, all but two of whom are already married. Her husband works for the state.

Madam Judith is a vendor of fruits and vegetables. She began her business 12 years ago with startup funds from her husband. Later on she partnered with Hekima in order to support her enterprise, which has developed well.

With this loan, Madam Judith plans to stock up on merchandise, such as avocados, prunes, bananas, and cassava leaves. This will reinforce her initial capital. The main difficulty her business faces is the lack of the clients during the rainy season.

It is Madam Judith's dream that her children continue their education, and that she continues to develop her business.

Lastly, Madam Judith would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to nonbankable small business owners, particularly in the context of the global Covid-19 crisis. In order to maintain social distancing measures, only the group representative is photographed at this time.
