Esperanza Group's story

Margarita is a 47-year-old working woman. She is also the president of the "ESPERANZA" Community Bank. She can be seen in the photograph standing on the far right holding a calendar.

Together with her husband, Eduardo, they take care of a 15-year-old boy. For 12 years she has been selling lunches in a store in the city of Cochabamba, in the district of Sacaba. Her business is very profitable. Her time selling in the area allows her to have loyal customers.

She requested a loan from Sembrar Sartawi IFD/Kiva for the purchase of an industrial freezer that would allow her to store perishable food.

She wants to continue growing in her business in order to give her son a great future.
