Everlyne's story

Success is not an overnight sensation, which is why Everlyne (pictured above) continues to inject passion and determination in her work. Everlyne is a 45-year-old mother of three children who does not believe in shortcuts to success. She is a hardworking woman who has never lost her hunger for success. Everlyne is a mixed dairy and crop farmer who has farmed for the past twenty-five years.

Residents of Eldoret have been affected by the spread of the coronavirus, requiring them to spend more of their income on food, health care, and education. Juhudi Kilimo, a Kiva partner, having extended its operations to Eldoret-Kenya, is playing a very big role in supporting women during this hard time.

Everlyne is seeking this loan to buy farming inputs to improve her production and make more income for her family. With a loan to Everlyne, her resolutions for the year 2021 can be accomplished.
