08-Ndiama 2 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy bags of baobab fruit, hibiscus, powdered milk, and sugar in order to make fruit juices and ice cream for resale.

08-Ndiama 2 Group's story

This group of 16 women first formed their banc villageois in August 2011. They are hardworking, dynamic, and close-knit. Their income comes primarily from commerce, and they have already repaid several loans.

Madam Yaye can be found in the photograph with her hand raised. She is the group representative. At 39 years old she is married and the mother of five children. She is a vendor and has benefited from plenty of experience in commerce.

With this new loan Madam Yaye plans to purchase bags of baobab fruit, hibiscus flowers, and sugar in order to make local fruit juices and ice cream. The revenue from her business allows her to cover her children's expenses.

Madam Yaye hopes to increase her savings and expand her business in the future.
