Lucy's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase the ACE One energy system to have access to solar power for lighting, charging, and cooking in a way that is safer and cleaner and saves money.

Lucy's story

Lucy is a 52-year-old woman who lives with 15 other family members, including 7 dependents, in a multi-bedroom house with access to electricity.

Lucy works as a teacher but struggles with charcoal energy expenses. She spends a total of KES 3,800 on all of her fuels and electricity expenses.

Lucy bought the ACE One cookstove to help herself and her family save the money they spend every month on fuel, and also to help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free.

The ACE One clean cookstove is biomass and solar powered. For more information on the ACE One cookstove, please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy.
