Paulo's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a small truck to help him to distribute his agricultural inputs in the most distant areas.

Paulo's story

Paulo is a 37-year-old Mozambican man. He is married and he lives in Chimoio with his wife and their three children.

Paulo has worked in agribusiness for many years as a farmer business adviser since he helps advise smallholder farmers in his community about the specifics seeds and fertilizers to use on their farms. Paulo is very well known and also trusted in his community.

Thanks to this attitude, Paulo was able to open his own inputs shop in Manica Province where he can deliver high quality inputs for the smallholder farmers around him. But Paulo has a major vision of expanding his services to the most distant smallholder farmers, many of them with no conditions to travel long distances to buy certified seeds.

In order to solve a challenge for many smallholder farmers, Paulo is requesting his first Kiva loan to buy a small truck to help him to distribute his agricultural inputs in the most distant areas.
