Nubis Candelaria's story

Nubis Candelaria is a 52 year old micro-businesswoman who lives in the municipality of Soledad together with her family. She makes a living selling meat products such as red meat, raw pork, and cold cuts. This merchant has more than four years of experience in her business, which she started due to the necessity to generate family income. Thanks to her vigor, dedication, and effort, she has made a go of her business.

Nubis opens her business and delivers to stores from 6:00 am until 3:00 pm daily. Her other customers are neighbors from her area, passersby, and family members. This activity has generated very good income. Her sales fell badly due to the pandemic, and with them her income. Thanks to the re-activation of the economy her sales are once again increasing. So she seeks to mitigate the impact of Covid-19 and she is currently applying for a Kiva loan, her first financing through the Fundacion Santo Domingo. The loan will be invested in the purchase of red meat and pork.

This entrepreneur needs an injection of capital to expand the inventory of food products that she offers, so that she can obtain higher profits and improve her family's quality of life. Support her business loan; it will be a success.
