San Buenaventura Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy starch, cheese, eggs, butter and other products.

San Buenaventura Group's story

This group is called San Buenaventura. Its members are in the third cycle of their program. The group is made up of united and supportive women who work together in their activities. They say they are satisfied and can feel the support of the women's committee program. They are also part of the poverty elimination program.

One of the group members is Rosalba. She is the president of the group, and her business is making and selling chipas, a type of cheesy bun. Rosalba says that her business is humble but has allowed her to help support her home and family. She defines herself as a tenacious person who looks for ways to continue growing so she can give the best to her family.

Rosalba is requesting this loan to buy raw materials to make her chipas, such as starch, cheese, eggs, butter and other products. This will enable her to continue her work as she has been doing.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, efforts have been made to avoid creating crowds of people, meaning a group photo was not possible.
