Niño Jesus Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy starch, cheese, eggs, lard and other ingredients to prepare and sell chipas [traditional cheesy bread].

Niño Jesus Group's story

This group is called "Niño Jesus" [Baby Jesus] and it was formed in the city of Santani, where all the members set themselves the goal of being able to grow, not only economically, but also as people.

One of them is Carmen. She works making and selling chipas, which is a typical food that is consumed at all times of the year. She mentions that she started with very little, but today she already has an established clientele who always buy from her, and she comments that her goal is to continue expanding and with this to continue giving the best to her family.

She asks for this loan to buy ingredients to make her chipas, such as starch, cheese, eggs, butter, and other products to continue with her sales.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo but this is a group loan. The group photo was not possible in order to avoid the crowding of people due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
