Mele's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy pandanus and raw materials for her business of weaving and handicraft, and also to expand their house.

Mele's story

Mele is 57 years old. She is a mother of 8 and grandmother to 10 grandchildren. She and her husband, a farmer, live in their own home with 5 of their grown children. They live in just one house, and their household members are around fifteen, for her daughters have all married and have kids.

Mele and her 4 daughters work together in maintaining their business of weaving and handicraft. They weave and make kiekie together, although sometimes Mele will have 2 daughters weave with her while the other 2 make the kiekie. Having them work together benefits their business as they are able to work together efficiently to make lots of kiekie and weave more in a small amount of time.

Mele has applied for a loan to buy pandanus and raw materials for her business and also to use some of the money to expand their house.

Please help Mele with her business and also with her dream of expanding their house.
