Djiguitougou Group's story

Fatoumata is a Malian woman who is 40 years old and raises sheep in a rural commune in Mali. She is uneducated, married, and the mother of five children, ages 3 to 15, of whom four are in school. Her husband is a farmer.

Due to a lack of means, she has sought assistance from RMCR, a micro-finance institution, so that she can develop her business.

Fatoumata buys sheep in a rural commune in Mali to raise them. She then sells them at a local market near her village. She expects to realize a monthly profit of FCFA 60,000 from these sales. With the profits, she would like to take care of her children's schooling, clothing, and health.

Fatoumata wants to become a major farmer in her commune in the days to come.
