'Ana's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase pandanus and mulberry for her weaving and tapa-making business and also use some of the loan money for their plantation.

'Ana's story

Greetings from 'Ana. She is 77 years old and married with 7 adult children and 21 grandchildren. 'Ana and her husband still manage to run multiple businesses including weaving, tapa-making and also a plantation. Her husband and two sons takes good care of their plantation, while 'Ana with her group of women are busy making tapas once every week. She spend the rest of the week days weaving with her eldest daughter. 'Ana is a very active member not only in her family but also in the center she is involved in. She dedicates her time and seriousness to her businesses so that her family may benefit from them. She taught her daughter the skills of weaving and making tapas. They normally export their crops overseas, where they earn more money from them. A loan will help 'Ana purchase pandanus and mulberry and also improve her plantation by buying fertilizer and chemicals for it.
