Uinise's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy pandanus (screw palm fiber) for her weaving business, hire two women to weave for her, and complete her children's school entrance requirements.

Uinise's story

Uinise is 41 years old. She is a mother of six, and her husband works as a farmer. Uinise is a weaver. She weaves taovala, mats, and fihu, then sells her products to earn money for her family. Her little business helps her husband in providing for their children.

Uinise is a sole weaver and she weaves in her own home. When her weavings are ready for sale, she posts them on social media and also exports them overseas. She also sells them to random local customers. She believes that her weaving can make a difference in the life of her family, and she is working towards that end.

Uinise has applied for a loan to buy pandanus (screw palm fiber) for her weaving business and also hire two women to weave for her. She also needs financial help to meet school requirements for her children.
