Los Tigres De Maquengales Group's story
Eliel is 37 years old. His income comes from the planting of dry grains, chia and coffee. He has been a farmer for more than 20 years. He cultivated corn and beans on his father's land, then they inherited him and little by little with the harvests he enlarged his property. Currently he harvests on his own land.
He again requests a loan from Fundenuse, together with Kiva funds, to buy farming inputs to look after his chia crop.
His goal is to enlarge the property and improve his house as well as the living conditions of his family.
He is very grateful for the previous loan that was granted to him with the Kiva fund. By applying the agricultural inputs in a timely manner he obtained very good yields with his crops.
He belongs to the solidarity group "Los tigres de maquengales" along with Exequiel and Adonais who are also farmers.
