Mujeres Esforzadas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy supplies to make traditional candy to sell.
Mujeres Esforzadas Group's story
Doña Liliam Marisol is the group president. She has two children and lives with her sister. She owns a business which sells a variety of arrangements, balloons, etc. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, events were canceled. She, therefore, started selling traditional candy and sweets, a business that she grew by also selling snacks and lunches in a company that gave her the opportunity. She sells her products every day and is requesting a loan to continue expanding her food-selling business as well as her balloon arrangements.
She works with her sister because they have increased their client base and sales together. By doing this, they both progress and cover household expenses as well as their nephews’ expenses; they are now in charge of their nephews' care. They would like to thank FAPE for their support through loans which have been a blessing and have allowed them to continue working.
