Joy's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to invest in pork and other supplies, like ngoyong.

Joy's story

Joy is a hard working woman from the town of Loboc. She earns a living through selling chicharon (a Filipino snack dish made with dried pork rind that is deep fried to achieve a puffed consistency, usually served with vinegar dip), and ngoyong (an appetizer consisting of cubed vegetables with ground meat or shrimp seasoned with five-spice powder in a thin egg crêpe that is deep-fried).

She is a mother of three children, ages 3, 5 and 9. Her partner in life works as a chef.

She has decided to secure enough funds to boost her supplies and also to enable her to cater to her customers' orders on time.

She plans to use the loan to invest in pork and other supplies like ngoyong.

In the future, she would like to expand her business to be successful in order to support her family.
