Gulzhamal's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy land for growing watermelons and to buy feed for her livestock during the winter months.

Gulzhamal's story

Gulzhamal successfully repaid her first loan, and she is grateful to Kiva and everyone who helped her with her financing. Today, Gulzhamal's farm is comprised of 4 cows, 10 sheep and 0.5 hectares of irrigated land, on which she grows watermelons.

To further develop her business, Gulzhamal has once again turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 140,000 KGS. Buying land will allow her to grow her income by increasing her watermelon harvest, and she will also buy feed for her livestock during the winter months. From the income she will receive, she plans on investing one portion in the purchase of more livestock, and she will save a second portion to buy a house in the city.
