Naomi's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to build a small shack, purchase fruits and vegetables in bulk and rent a market space.

Naomi's story

Naomi lives with her elderly parents in their village home in Nakoroivau. Her mother weaves mats, which she sells for a living.

She sometimes bakes and sells her goods along the road, but she noticed that the income earned from the two commercial activities has been inconsistent and her family cannot rely on them.

She decided that selling fruits and vegetables in her community would be a great idea, as many people only plant root crops in the village. Additionally, she wishes to rent a stall in the market.

Naomi kindly requests a loan so that she may build a small shack outside her home where her mother can attend to the fruits and vegetables.

Naomi will purchase in bulk from farmers while she also sells them at the market stall that she wishes to rent.

She believes the income will be more consistent for her tiny family of three, and her mother would not have to worry anymore.
