San Francisco Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy starch, cheese, eggs, butter, salt and other ingredients.

San Francisco Group's story

The San Francisco group is in their 21st cycle of the women's committee program where they all strive to improve their quality of life and that of their loved ones. They are also in the Poverty Stoplight program in order to overcome their situation of poverty.

One of them is Efigenia, who helps to support her family by making and selling chipas [cheese bread], which is a typical food in Paraguay and is consumed year round. She mentions that every day she starts her work early in the morning and through this she searches for the way to help her family and give them a better quality of life.

She is requesting this loan to buy raw materials to make her chipas such as starch, cheese, eggs, butter, salt and other ingredients.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. The group photo was not possible in order to avoid the crowding of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
