Nueva Esperanza Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy vegetables, baked goods, condiments, meat, chicken, ham, cheese and other products.

Nueva Esperanza Group's story

The Nueva Esperanza Group is in its third women’s committee loan cycle in the city of Curuguaty. It is a delicate area due to the presence of armed groups, and all the members struggle to improve and get ahead.

One of them is Juana who sells food. Her goal is to continue working to help her family and give them a better quality of life so they lack for nothing. Juana defines herself as an enterprising person who is constantly striving to get ahead and give her loved ones all the best.

She is applying for this loan to buy ingredients for her foods, such as vegetables, baked goods, condiments, meat, chicken, ham, cheese and other items.

Note: There is only one person in the photo despite this being a group loan. A group photo was not possible due to the social distancing required by the Covid-19 pandemic.
