Abizera Budakiranya Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a large quantity of bananas in order to make local drinks for sale.

Abizera Budakiranya Group's story

Straton is 43 years old, married, and has three children. He is very committed to the well-being of his family. His dream and hope is to improve his family’s standards of living. He is a group leader of Abizera Budakiranya.

For 16 years, Straton has owned a business of selling local drinks in his community. He wants to expand his business gradually, yet his lack of capital prevents him from doing so.

Therefore, Straton is requesting a loan in order to purchase a large quantity of bananas to make local drinks for sale. This will increase his sales and earn more revenue.

The profits generated by this loan will be used to get all the basic needs and he will be able to pay school fees for his children.

Due to the global pandemic, VisionFund Rwanda was not able to photograph all the members, but VisionFund Rwanda was able to get one representative for the group photo.

Straton is truly appreciative toward the Kiva lenders for this support.
