Rajmonda's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for this divorced mother's daughter to have physiotherapy sessions with the hope she might walk again.

Rajmonda's story

Rajmonda is a 40-year-old divorced mother of two: a 23-year-old daughter and a 9-year-old son. She lives with her children at her sister's house. Through matchmaking, she got married when she was only 17 years old with a husband 20 years older. She never loved or respected him because he continuously mistreated her.

Recently, she took her two children and moved to the capital city. "It was very difficult at the beginning but the joy of living alone and in peace with my children made me tough to (endure) everything!" said Rajmonda during the interview. She is the bartender and the waiter in a bar so she can provide for her children.

The worst thing in Rajmonda's life happened around two years ago when her daughter suddenly was paralyzed, and when she had for the first time Kiva lenders support. "I didn't know what to do or how to deal with this situation." she said. Rajmonda is hoping again for Kiva lenders' support to pay for her daughter's physiotherapy sessions with the hope she might walk again one day.
