Muong Phang 47 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fish.

Muong Phang 47 Group's story

Ms. Kien is 25 years old, and she lives with her husband and her two children in a small house in a poor mountain area of northwest Vietnam, where agriculture is the mainstay. Her two children are in kindergarten, and they are adorable, obedient, and motivating her to try harder. She works tirelessly so her children can have an education and live a better life!

Her husband is a mason and the main income earner for the family. In order to earn extra income for family, Ms. Kien does some work such as growing rice and vegetables, but doesn't stop there. She also raises chickens, ducks, pigs, and fish in order to have additional income to pay for her children’s tuition.

Ms. Kien knew she couldn’t do this alone so she reached out to Anh Chi Em program and was granted a 7m VND loan! This helped her buy more fingerlings (young fish) to raise and sell, which helped her pay for her children's tuition.

Ms. Kien wishes she could build a new house which is more solid and spacious in the future.
