Teotecacinte Group's story
Isidro is 68 years old and is married. He is known in his community to be a trustworthy, hard-working and honest person. He longs to work in order to improve the life conditions of his family and himself.
He is very grateful to Kiva and Fundenuse for the previous loan. With it, he was able to buy groceries for his convenience store and medicines, that he sells door-to-door, and so expand the stock of his business. With the profits from these sales, he fixed the roof of his house, which was in a very bad state because rain passed through it and into the house.
He requests a new loan to Fundenuse, with Kiva's funds, to strengthen his stock buying rice, sugar, beans, coffee, salt, vegetables and medicines.
He is a member of the solidarity group Teotecacinte, together with José, who sells coffee beans and bananas, and Eliel, who sells bread and fried plantains.
