Cessiri Group's story

Adama is the one who has his hand on the sheep in the photo. He is by himself on account of Covid-19. Adama is an ambitious grower.

Malien is 60 years old, married and the father of 15 children, four (4) of whom are in school. His wives are housekeepers. He raises sheep. He buys his animals and resells them at the weekly fairs in his area. Raising animals is profitable for him since it allows him to pay for his children's care and education expenses. He has a potential profit of 25,000 F to 40,000 F over a six-month period. However, he often has to deal with illnesses and death of his animals, in spite of veterinary care. He has a dream of enlarging the number of his plough oxen in order to increase his agricultural production.
