Kangukamutegarugori Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more rice, cooking oil, meat, beans and sweet potatoes for her restaurant.

Kangukamutegarugori Cb Group's story

Venantie is a 46-year-old widowed mother with seven children who are between 5 and 25 years old. For the past 17 years, she has owned a restaurant.

Venantie is the leader of the group called Kangkamutegarugori Cb (which in English means “A rise”). Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Venantie will use her loan to buy more rice, cooking oil, meat, beans and sweet potatoes to sell in her restaurant and meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to provide for her family and also pay school fees for the children who are still in school.

She is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego Bank was not able to get a photograph of all the group members, but was able to photograph one representative.
