Twanzane Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 300 pagnes (lengths of colorful cloth) which will increase her initial capital.

Twanzane Group's story

Jacky is a customer of the MFI Hekima and president of the Twanzane business group. She is 55 years old, married and the mother of 10 children; two are in school and the others have finished. Her partner is an officer in a private company.

Jacky sells clothing made from pagnes (lengths of colorful cloth), a business she launched in 2004 with start-up funds from her husband. Later, she got involved with Hekima's program to support her business, which has grown steadily ever since. With this new loan, she will buy 300 pagnes to increase her initial capital. Her major challenge is night-time theft.

Jacky would like for her children to continue their education and she wants to build a permanent house. She would also like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they provide to the owners of unbankable companies during the global Covid-19 crisis. The photo is of only the group leader in order to comply with Covid-19 social distancing measures.
