Gicuma Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more flour, maize flour, rice, cooking oil, sugar and salt.

Gicuma Cb Group's story

Clementine is a 50-year-old mother of five children who are aged between 20 and 26 years old. Her husband is a farmer and for the past ten years, she has owned a grocery store.

Clementine is the leader of the group called Gicuma Cb (which in English means “the place where the group is located”). Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Clementine will use her loan to buy more flour, maize flour, rice, cooking oil, sugar and salt to sell in her community and to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to furnish her house and also provide for the family.

She is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members, but was able to photograph one representative.
