Ushindi Ii Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on fresh fish, which will strengthen their starting capital.

Ushindi Ii Group's story

Rosine is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima and represents the village group "Ushindi li". She is 43 years old, married and has six children. They all go to school. Her husband is unemployed.

Rosine started selling fish six years ago with starting funds received from her husband. Later, she joined Hekima to support her business and it grew progressively. With this new loan, she is going to purchase fresh fish, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her business is due to disruptions in supply.

Rosine would like feed her family and for her children to be able to continue their education. She wants to thank Hekima and its partners for their support of non bankable business owners in this context of global crisis linked to COVID-19. The photo only shows the group leader because of social distancing measures.
