Nguvu Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase flour, oil, and potatoes to strengthen her initial capital.

Nguvu Group's story

Madame Estella is a client of the MFI Hekima and is the representative of the groupe villageoise Nguvu. She is 48 years old, married, and the mother of 10 children, all of whom are in school. Her partner is unemployed.

She sells food. She started this business five years ago with startup funding she received from her husband. Later, she joined the Hekima program to support her business, and she has been making gradual progress. With this new loan, she will purchase flour, oil, and potatoes to strengthen her initial capital. The challenge for her business is related to the rainy season, which hinders her activities.

She would like for her children to continue their schooling and would like to feed her family. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and their partners for their support of non-bankable business owners during the global COVID-19 crisis.
