Dieu Merci Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on 40 cases of Primus beer, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Dieu Merci Group's story

Pulcherie is a client with the microfinance institution Hekima and represents the village group Dieu Merci. She is 65 years old, widowed and has seven children who are all enrolled in school.

She established her business selling beverages in 2015 using start-up funds she received from her children. Later she got involved with the Hekima program to support her business, which has been developing progressively. With this new loan, she will stock up on 40 cases of Primus eer, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her business is linked to the scarcity of merchandise.

She would like her children to continue their studies and wants to build on her plot of land. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support shown to business owners without access to traditional banking facilities in the context of the global crisis caused by covid-19.
