San Blas Group's story

This group is called San Blas and is made up of women heads of household who are fighting for a better quality of life for their loved ones. They are all looking for ways to continue working and give the best to their families. They are also part of the poverty elimination program, in which they all strive for a better future.

One of the group members is Rocio, who works in sales and has a modest business selling clothing. She mentions that, although her busines is humble, it allows her to earn income to help her loved ones. Like the other members of the committee, she is looking for ways to better herself, give her family everything she was unable to have, and prevent them from experiencing hardships like she did.

Rocio is requesting this loan to buy a variety of clothing to sell, which will enable her to continue her work and meet customer demand.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo was not possible because of social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
