Salome's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy four bags of betel nuts, cigarettes and fresh fish for her marketing business.

Salome's story

Salome is a 48-year-old woman who is married with three children and they live in a community outside Honiara, the capital of Solomon Island.

She runs a small marketing business selling betel nuts, cigarettes and barbecue fish in her community to earn a living. She has been in this business for two years.

Salome has requested a loan from SPBD to pay for additional bags of betel nuts, cigarettes and fresh fish to increase her stocks and assist her in running her business.

She plans to use her profits to meet her family's weekly expenses and improve her business.

She joined SPBD in 2019.
