Francisco's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to hire labourers to harvest the grains he grows.

Francisco's story

59-year old Francisco did not have the opportunity to go to school because of the war that was taking place in his country. His parents worked in agriculture as he was growing up. He is married and has three adult children.

Francisco earns his living growing and selling maize, beans, and sorghum. He also raises pigs and chickens, learning about farming from his parents over many years. He needs a loan to hire labourers to harvest the grains. In the past he received five loans which enabled him to continue working, and he has already finished paying them back. His dream is to gradually make improvements to his home.
