Briseyda, age 24, studied up to high school. She is a single mother and lives with her parents.

Briseyda has a store selling basic grains. She also has begun selling "pupusas" [stuffed tortillas] and sorbets, which she learned from her mother. Also, she works raising and selling chickens, and she has experience raising cattle.

She needs the loan to buy concentrated feed for her chickens. Previously, she was supported with three loans, and she has repaid them.

Briseyda dreams of her business prospering and of improving her child's quality of life.
