Kalimeli's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a new boat and, also, to pay a deposit for a new vehicle for the purposes of her business and for family use.

Kalimeli's story

This is Kalimeli. She is 29 years old, married, and they still have no children. Her husband still stuck overseas due to COVID-19 lockdown and Kalimeli stays at her parent's house.

Kalimeli and her father, with her two brothers, run a family business of fishing, where her father and her brothers fish and Kalimeli helps with packing the fish and selling it.

Kalimeli has been a devoted member of the SPBD loan program. She is loyal to running her business and the use of the loan money.

Normally, they hire a boat for their fishing, but this loan she applied for is to purchase their own boat for their business and, also, to pay a deposit for a new vehicle for the family and business use.

Kalimeli sells their fish at the fish market in town and one of her brothers also sells some of the fish along the main road at their own town.

Kalimeli's dream is to continue on running their business, so that, one day, she can be able to renovate their home and build a new and bigger one.
