Victoria's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped me to continue to service an underserved community in the areas of health and fitness.

Victoria's story

My name is Victoria and I am a Fort Wayne native. I recently graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing with a minor in Public Relations at Purdue University Fort Wayne. After graduating from Northrop High school in 2014, I was recruited to run Track at Purdue University West Lafayette. Upon my first season of being a college athlete, I found out the most exciting yet terrifying news of my 18-year-old life. I became pregnant with my wonderful daughter Brielle during the spring semester of 2015 and later gave birth on September 20th, 2015. Due to my new-found responsibilities of being a young single mother, I decided to return home to Fort Wayne to begin working and to continue my education with the support of my family. I love sports, and fitness and have always been very passionate about helping others and serving my community. During my pregnancy I gained over 75lbs and was very unhappy, my outlet was going to the gym and changing my eating habits. Throughout this process, I noticed a lot of people were struggling with the same issues, and once I identified that it made sense for me to become a personal trainer. Since then I have been fortunate enough to be approaching my fourth year of self-employment as a Personal Trainer. Tori Leigh Fitness LLC was established in May of 2018. I obtained my Personal Training, CPR, and Group fitness certifications in October of 2017. In addition to my certifications, I have attended 3 National fitness workshops in the areas of Muscle Mechanics, Live Strong (Cancer recovery), and Prost-Partum fitness.
