The income generated by his sales allow him to pay for his family's expenses (his children's education, healthcare and food seasonings). He buys his merchandise (rice, sugar, tea, candies, etc.) at the large market in his area, and sells them at retail in his village. He earns quarterly income of 123,500 FCFA.
