Elly's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child’s educational needs.

Elly's story

Good day lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Elly. She is 32 years old, married and has two daughters. Elly runs a food stall business, and her husband is an employee. One of her children is still in school. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their family has been the implementation of school from home that uses an online system. This made it difficult for their child to access the course materials and send assignments to the teacher.

She has applied for a loan of 2,000,000 Indonesian rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child’s educational needs. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her business.

Elly is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her children to improve the living conditions and create a happy life. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank all lenders.

Note: The little girl in the photo is Elly’s daughter who is still in school.
