Timaima's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to hire a few workers, buy two pesticide grass sprayers, water blasters, a grog pounder and a weighing scale.

Timaima's story

Timaima is a doting mother of five children.

Her husband left her after a long battle with prostate cancer two years ago. It has been her dream since then to start her own kava business on a scale that beats any others near her.

With the lush greenery around her, she needs a loan to pay the young men in her village to plant kava for her. She intends to purchase two pesticide grass sprayers to be used on her farm by her workers when the kava plants need to be cleared of weeds. She also needs two water blasters that will aid in the washing of the harvested plants. After washing, she wishes to purchase more corrugated iron for drying the Kava plants.

Timaima will also need grog pounders which will be used to turn the dried produce into powder form. Lastly she will need a scale for weighing and bags for packaging.

Your loan will definitely help her family through these hard times.
