These are the entrepreneurs of the group “Santa Cruz”, a Communal Bank that is part of Pro Mujer in Jinotepe, Nicaragua. One of the of members is Teresa de Jesus. In the photo, she is standing in the middle wearing a sky-blue pullover shirt and black trousers. She is a hardworking and social woman who has the drive to succeed. Her husband is a laborer in the free trade zone. They have two children, ages 3 and 9.

In the future, Teresa de Jesus imagines herself becoming a businesswoman with a great amount of independence. While she pursues her dreams, she needs a loan to restock her store with basic grains, soft drinks, fried snacks, toiletries, and household goods.
