Mujeres Luchadoras Group's story

The group called “Fighting Women” is in its 7th loan cycle with the women’s committee program. They are friends and neighbors in the city of Caacupé. They have made growth their goal, not only in the financial sense, but also as people.

Agueda is one of them. She helps her family by making sales. In her house she has a small store which she started through great effort and sacrifice. It has been improving and growing bit by bit. Her goal is to be able to keep working and, in this way, help her family to cover their needs, so that they want for nothing. She joined this group in order to meet her goals and achieve her objectives.

She is asking for this loan stock her business by buying products: drinks, baked goods, vegetables, fruit, canned items, and other products.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo wasn’t possible because of the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to avoid large groups.
