A loan helped to purchase more bananas to sell.
Dufatanye Busigari Group's story
Athanasie is 51 years old and is a widow with one orphan in her home, and that child is 18 years old. For the past twenty years, she has owned a business selling bananas to the community. Athanasie is located in the north of the country, and other members appreciate her very much because she is a role model. Athanasie is a widow but she has an advanced mindset as her team confirmed, because she is always working hard in order to improve her lifestyle so she can avoid always asking. She is the leader of the Dufatanye Busigari, and in the picture, she is the one raising her hand. Athanasie will use her loan to purchase more bananas to sell. With the profits from her sales she will be able to expand her business and get all the basic needs. She is thankful for your support. NOTE: In the picture, there is a man who was photographed with others in the last minute and did not met all the requirement to get a loan and the team knew it late. That man is in yellow mask and the group exclusived him. Please don't consider him. Also the loan officer can not take another picture because we can not travel from one district to another because of COVID 19, this is the decision made by the government of Rwanda.
