Tusonge Mbele Group's story

Mme Francisca is a client of Hekima IMF and a member of the group villageoise TUSONGE MBELE. She is a 60 year old single woman with 7 children who all attend school.

Mme Francisca sells various food products. She began this business ten years ago with start up funds gifted to her by her family. Later, she enrolled in the Hekima program to support her business and with this assistance she has continually developed. With this new loan, she will buy cassava flour, rice and Omo (laundry detergent) which will reinforce her initial capital. The challenge with her business is a lack of customers.

She would like her children to continue studying and to renovate her house. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support to proprietors who cannot rely on banks during the global crisis connected to Covid-19. The picture is of the leader of the group only because of Covid-19 social distancing measures.
